RETURN POLICY

 

 

We offer refunds on unused merchandise less associated return fees. Return fees include:

- Credit Card transaction fees

- Associated shipping charges

- 25% - 30% restocking fees, depending on the manufacturer

 

The following Items may be returned:

 

· Products that are new, unused, unaltered (with no clipped wires) and contained all original product packaging and accessories.

· Products that are repacked properly, in the original packaging, and are received in saleable condition.

· Products received within 30 days of requesting a return.

 

 

The following may NOT be returned:

 

· Orders over $2,000.00

· Custom orders and CFL Lamping products

· Orders with customized price quotes

· Expedited shipping costs

· Discontinued products

· Orders received by customer over 30 days

· Items not purchased through Lightinggalaxy.com

 

 

Refused Deliveries

 

If the product is refused upon delivery, the customer will become responsible for the freight charges both to and from the manufacturer, 25% restocking fee, and Credit card transaction fee.

 

How to Return Products

To return fixtures for any reason, simply e-mail us at customerservice@lightinggalaxy.com or call us at 1-888-749-7575. A Lightinggalaxy.com customer service representative will issue a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#), provide return shipment instructions, and assist you with all other return questions. Returns must include the original box, packaging, and accessories. After receiving the Return Goods Authorization Number, the customer will have 30 days in which to return the product to Lightinggalaxy.com. After 30 days, the Return Authorization will expire and no replacements or refunds will be given.

 

The customer's Responsibilities when Returning Product

When returning product to Lightinggalaxy.com it is the customer's responsibility to pack the product in the original box with sufficient packaging material, mark the box with the issued RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number, and it is in the customer's best interest to insure the package. Any item received damaged at Lightinggalaxy.com is the customer's responsibility and no replacement or refund will be issued.

 

Products that are damaged during Return Shipment

If the product is damaged during shipment back to Lightinggalaxy.com or Manufacturer's warehouse, Lightinggalaxy.com will not be able to issue the customer a refund or credit for the product. We will inform the customer via email that the item(s) were received damaged and will hold up to 10 days. It is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier and to instruct Lightinggalaxy.com concerning the disposition of the damaged product. If Lightinggalaxy.com has not received notification or response from the customer within 10 days, the item will be field destroyed.

 

Refunds

The customer will be refunded (less applicable restocking fees, Credit Card transaction fees and associated shipping charges) once we have received the returned item and inspected the item for damage. Refunds must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of product. The product must be returned within 30 days of receipt of RGA instructions.
Items returned will be issued a refund via the same method in which the item was purchased. Credit to the original credit card used in the purchase or via a check issued by Lightinggalaxy.com
Items returned without the proper RGA or items returned to the wrong location may delay or completely cancel your refund.
Please read your RGA instructions carefully to not delay your refund.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Broken Glass

 

Items received with broken glass are not considered defective products. You must report broken glass within 4 days of receiving the product. Please contact Customer Service to request replacement glass be sent to you at no additional cost. Lightinggalaxy.com will not be responsible for expedited shipping of any replacement glass. Return associated with broken glass will be subject to the standard return fee as described in the Return Policy section.

 

Damaged Product

 

If you discover damaged products upon opening a shipment, please contact Customer Service immediately to take appropriate action to resolve the matter. Report of damage must be received between 2 days of receipt. If the damaged product is repairable with replacement parts, these parts will be shipped at no cost. Lightinggalaxy.com will not be responsible for expedited shipping of any replacement parts or products. If you would like to return the damaged product with no replacement, the return will be subject to our standard return policy.

 

All damaged or defective items must be reported in writing, either through the Contact Us portion of the website, or via fax at 818-349-8606.

 

Defective Products

 

Defective Products (such as those with dents, scratches, or faulty wiring) that are noticed prior to installation must be reported within 2 days of receiving the product. Please contact Customer Service. If we chose to scrap the damaged item, we will not be responsible for any disposal cost. Defective items will be replaced or repaired at our discretion. Return for these products are subject to our standard return policy (see "Return Policy" section).

Cancellations

 

We go out of our way to ship as quickly as possible and will make every attempt to cancel your order. However, many of our products ship direct from the manufacturer to you.

In the event that you would like to cancel your order, we will need to confirm with the individual manufacturer that your order has not been shipped. Once we have confirmation that your order has been cancelled, we will credit your account.

 

Requests to cancel your order can be accepted by calling customer support at 1-888-749-7575 or by emailing Customerservice@lightinggalaxy.com.

If we were not able to cancel your order and it has already been shipped, please do not refuse the shipment as this could result in cancellation fees being assessed. Please contact Customer Support for return instructions.
